Firestone has done amburana versions of Parabola a couple times and they're fantastic.

This sounds very similar to the elevated private barrel offering from last year. I’ve shared a few of those from my batch so far and the amburana certainly adds a baking spice quality. The smaller format of the new release only makes it more appealing.

No talk on this years BT Party, any certain stand outs? What was the to-go bottle?

Is today not a new beer release day?

New stuff wasn’t on tap Sunday so I am guessing it’s next week.

I also loved the Oskar blues cigar city collab: Bamburana!

Ordered some beers from the cellar last Tuesday, still haven’t shipped, didn’t think it generally took this long to ship?

My recent orders have had shipping processed within two days of the order (unless they didn’t have something in stock). I’d email them if it’s been over a week.

Did today and answer was “delays due to the amount of BT orders”

Whole Foods in Oakland has 375ml BT bottles for $26, which I bet will be attractive to casual upmarket beer buyers. Certainly makes a lot more sense than when we saw 750ml for $50+!

I wonder if this indicates they want to reenter the retail market? Or if it's a one time special.

Anyone know if this Sunday is member Sunday? Seems like it should be and i want to partake since I have Monday off, but haven’t seen any emails about this month.

Looks like half the beers were missing. No distillery collab or hoarder’s cuvée with adjuncts. Wonder if that will impact the shipping of those.

End of an era! I emailed Bruery and they confirmed no 750ml bottles of 5 Golden Rings. Only the 375 in the box set :slight_frown:

I suppose their answer left open the chance of the 375's being sold on their own... Unsure.

Anyone open an Adios Martes recently? I opened one tonight and it tastes a lot... different...

Ugh. Well I am sad to report this Adios Martes bottle was sour. I tried the second half tonight, really hoping I was being crazy last night, but no. This was one of my top three releases this year, so fingers crossed it's an anomaly...

In much better news, I opened Tranquil Moonlight and it's fantastic. Super boozy of course, warm but not harsh. Pretty balanced for a fresh 21% beer. Medium body, very chocolaty. Vibes of a BT Reserve or GR.

I wonder what the base it? It's probably BT given the ABV. Though interesting it doesn't mention BT on the label.
