    Tripping through photos I took last week at the medieval walled city of Carcassonne, about an hour drive southeast of Toulouse. I got an alert that Judas Priest is headlining a metal festival day there in June. Gonna get my tix on Friday!

    Posting yesterday's hike at the Cat Gap Loop Trail and lunch stop at Oskar Blues Brewery in Brevard, NC for a pint and a bite (sorry about the unappetizing look). The hike picture captures the devastation of water rushing via river branches through two mountain "gaps" and stopping in the Davidson River which our hike began at. Be back later with a brew or two.

    Morning, BAs! I know I've been mostly absent lately. I got very sick starting on Thursday, and Sunday night found out it's Covid. I haven't been eating, sleeping, or drinking much of anything, so I haven't had anything to share.

    But yesterday I had my first meal since Thursday's lunch (the only meal I had yesterday, but still!), and a glass of wine at night. So I'm grabbing a light breakfast and splitting a French Toast Donut Imperial Stout with my (also-sick) partner:
