What beer are you drinking now? #4399

Great photo. I wanted to visit Carcassonne last time we were in France but ran out of time. I’ve been to Europe, India, Turkey, etc.—they had their faults, but those folks sure knew how to build a photogenic structure.

 

It's been a while since I frequented the bar scene on a regular basis, seem to remember that bars didn't serve liquor on election day here in Minnesota. Is that still the case? Elsewhere?

No idea. Washington has had voting by mail for as long as I can remember (it’s wonderful—I voted literally the day I received my ballot this time, weeks ago) so Election Day doesn’t really mean what it does in some other states. That said, I dropped off my wife and daughter’s ballots at a drop box this morning. They are procrastinators. Still, no lines, no waiting, no hassle.

Would make sense to try to minimize drunk voting but on the other hand, ‘murica. I have a right to get shitfaced before I choose my government if I want to.
