    To-go line was super easy.

Inside is an absolute, unavoidable cluster, but worth it for another pour of Shin Shin.

RIP to anyone doing the weekend.

I wish they'd bottle that for us. Shin Shin was amazing when I tried it during Stout week in 2023

Any of the anniversary barleywine still available to-go?

Nope. I tried to stop by at 5:30 and they stopped early.

As a new member, I can firmly say that I will not be rejoining the membership. The fact that they will release a beer at NO LIMIT to the public before even giving to LC at 1PP is complete bullshit.

Any beer I've truly wanted from this membership has either been offered to the public first at NO LIMIT or not offered to LC at all. And the beers offered at NO LIMIT to the public first are later offered to LC at first come first served NO LIMIT, instead of 1 PP.

Someone in here mentioned stockholm syndrome and that has just been resonating with me for days now.

You’re not the only one who feels this way, and you’re not the only who is gonna drop. But also the spots we open up will immediately be filled by the next people invited. I do applaud them for rewarding people for showing to on-site events, but why do I pay $250 to not have a chance at these beers if I can’t drop everything and show up on a weeknight.

Definitely feel it as a first time member too. I guess I was expecting more since they refer to it as an exclusive club. But I also get wanting to cater to locals. Then at the same time I’m glad to be in because it has obviously given me access to beers I wouldn’t have bought otherwise since they are always tied to a package. I will for sure renew. Gotta give it another chance

At least they’ve finally stopped referring to it as a small intimate membership.

I’m wondering when they will stop pushing the “beer for sharing” slogan. You can push that at 750s, but not 375s. While I am with @AlexIrigoyen in terms of preferring the smaller size, 375 is like a personal pan pizza while 750 is more like a medium-large. You don’t really share a personal pan.

I wonder if it’s one of those things where they apportion so many bottles per day of the bw like they did at the brewery anniversary

True. I solo every beer no matter the size. Mainly because I’m the only person I know that gives a shit about BA stouts/barleywine lol. But it is nice getting them all to myself lol

I've started corking 750mls and will drink them over 2 or 3 evenings. it's quite enjoyable actually.

I know that I am the exception to the rule - and not suggesting that everyone or even anyone else feels this way - but most big BA beers I prefer more on Day 2 than day 1 if those beers are fairly fresh. This includes SP beers in 750s. In 2022, I vastly preferred BBT 2022 on day 2 and day 3 than on day 1. I'm broken

I guess we find out soon if they really are selling more barleywine each day

I saw some of the Tenth on secondary today.

In years past I'd have paid the $$, but i'm hoping my LC benefits will kick in and allow me to buy a bottle online.
