Thanks for the open @Shanex ! And Happy Belated Birthday to @LarryV ! You seemed to enjoy the day with your beer selections, we enjoyed the banter and music as always.

The third and final selection from my three new six packs. My first Bell's purchase in perhaps a year. Liking this as this warms, very bitter, pine hops. Malt present but acceptable at these DIPA/Imperial 10% ABV levels. Honey there as well, comes out more as this warms. Close to memory in terms of the experience. I'm liking this a bit more than the joy I had when I came across stacked boxes.

Good day BAs! Thanks @Shanex for opening the bar today! I'm where the stars at night shine big and bright - drinking "local" at my brother's dining room table. Typically, just before and after I got here, it rained and today is overcast as well. Every time I come down, it rains on and off for a week or so - I think I'll ask the gov to reimburse my travel costs since obviously my travel causes the rain.

Otherwise, today's New Breakfast Beer:



Final impression and summation: 3.5 I was expecting, after the fudge-like aroma, to follow this with an insulin chaser; however, the sweetness of the drink thankfully doesn’t live up to the nose. Otherwise, a very average Murican Impy Stout at a premium price.

This is one delicious west coast IPA from Green Crown in Sacramento. Canned October 11th. So piney, grapefruity, all around delicious.

I don't usually drink beer this early in the day, but I just picked this up and was anxious to try it.

Equilibrium String Theory Pomegranate and Plum Saison style ale. It's has a pretty tart flavor but is surprisingly good. There's a bit of funk in the aroma which i think is to be expected for a Saison. Clocks in at 5% ABV so not likely to send me back to bed for a nap

 

Puttering around and sipping this one.
