I thought the 10 year barleywine was phenomenal and not too sweet

 

Big time. It’s actually hilarious that there are people out there that have the time to do false beer check ins. It takes internet trolling to a new level lol

Only about 160ish bottles to go of the silent barrel.

 

VW BBT on at the brewery and unbundled to-go bottles of BVC b2.

And onsite bottles of rBBT '20 at the brewery.

Every single last one of them. I would have been too.

 

I had not considered that the first three Silent Barrels were 40, 25, and 121. The sour quad is quite good, but if you are only in it for the malt, I can understand why a morning standing in line for a sour quad might be challenging.

There was plenty of onsite maltiness to make it right tho.

 

LOL. Sipping a nice cask strength rye that I bought today and cost not much more than the quad. This is an enjoyable scroll through Untappd.

Gotta keep that trade value up for when they try to offload it. My favorite so far is, "I have had worse infected beers, but this is one of the better ones. Kudos! $70 bottle of salad dressing." 1.5/5. Guessing he would not smash again.

I’ve got a bottle of a silent barrel barleywine sitting with me in the hotel as we speak. Wasn’t there also a silent barrel that was a stout/BW blend?

 

So…does the rain forecast mean I can show up at 1:15 and get 11 Candles?

or are 100 people already in line?!

guessing the latter.

 

Considering it goes on sale at noon, I doubt 1:15 gets it.
