Hello everyone. A cool morning here but sunny as heck. Excellent for having a beer before I start some lawn choppin' & mulching plus various other small machine tasks. "Make hay when the sun shines" as Uncle Gary would say. I miss that guy. An energetic old So Dak farmer with 1500 acres and a thirst as big as a river for light beer or Canadian Mists w Coke....
I'll start out light here with the Art History x Binny's Fresh Hop Vista Wet Hopped Lager. A stimulating and splendid American Lager. Cheers!

We're traveling to El Paso to look at the new Volkswagen Bus, the ID Buzz. My wife has been waiting a few years for this, and it looks like they are about to arrive in the US. She drives a 2012 Mini Cooper that's been paid off for years so I'm not too excited about having a car payment.
This is a very good Oktoberfest.

 

Nice! Safe travels. My folks lived in EP for 10 yrs. Been there a few times and I always liked hitting the pawn shops down there.

Another garage fridge find bottled 04SEP13. It surprisingly still packs quite a bit of bourbon heat and taste. There's a hint of oxidation and you could see a fair amount evaporated in the bottle neck. To my surprise it's still very enjoyable. Back to decking the halls on another snowy day along the northern front range. Cheers!
