Thanks Eric - really appreciated!! I played that on my Epiphone Limited edition 59 Les Paul. It's a really nice guitar - every bit as nice as a Gibson branded LP. It has Gibson Burtsbucker pickups, and high end components/electronics. .

I was messing with the tune yesterday, but i couldn't quite get to a solo that I liked. This morning after coffee I just sat down and recorded it on the first take. Here's the guitar:

My mom turned 18, graduated high school and got married in the same week. Was unusual even then (1960).

 

Since May doesn't read any BA, I'll say I'm working on that. She's been home on medical for 6 weeks so it's been good practice for when she retires next June......not gonna be easy......
