    Had that one the first year they came out with it. Not good back then. My overall review:

    "This is a below average Marzen. Appearance sets an unfortunate tone. It is cloudy, muddy looking. Head retention was non existent. Low on flavor and aroma. Graininess is almost an off aroma. Thin, almost watery mouth feel. Lacks the expected malt complexity, with pronounced toasty notes. It does not taste bad, it is just not appealing."

    Hoped they would make it better but sounds like not so much.

    Happy Saturday ba. Running through some tree house whales (for me that is) over the next week. Starting here with Bright Citra, dipa. Wow, crazy smooth, fruit is not overpowering, and just a nice clean hop punch. 10/16/24,

    This is a spiffy little big beer. Two years of age haven't hurt the appeal of this beer (makes me wonder how it would have been opened shortly after its release). Dense, rich, and silky with some great smell. I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for another version of this beer.
