    A lot of craft shops have it, which is nice, but Whole Foods was absolutely loaded w/ it. We live in excellent times.

    I like a good red India pale ale. This one flirts with a spicy Irish red ale and a malty Scotch ale. The muted malt sweetness is most dominant, the hop bitterness more of a background element. The mouthfeel may be the closest aspect to an India pale ale, although it seems somewhat weak and watery. Regardless, this is one tasty, malty, lip-smacking beer. Very nice overall.

    I'm at the point where the antibiotics are still messing with my system (last dose is tomorrow!), and I'll be coughing the liquid out of my lungs for at least another week - and that's rough. But otherwise, I'm doing much better (better being a relative term, of course). Fever-free for 3+ days now (after two full weeks of fighting fevers), and back to work, so a huge improvement, for sure.

    My partner has snagged a couple of colds during this time, but nothing too serious - and thankfully, somehow, never got Covid during this time. So she's doing pretty well, all things considered.
