At Wander with a mug of The Fire of Next Time. A collab with their neighbors up the street at Otherlands. A Rauchbier with just a nice amount of smoke.

Erdinger Weissbräu Oktoberfest Weissbier (5.7%): A German Festbier with flavors of orange, earthy Munich malts, and a complex and spiced yeast profile.

A German Festbier here that drinks like a mix between a Festbier and hefeweizen. Smooth festbier flavors, but a complex and spiced yeast profile. Carbonated and clean. Not my favorite festbier, but pretty good.

Lil Supernatural Freak. An IPA not brewed by Sierra Nevada.

On a personal note, my wife passed in April of this year. She was close to her cousin who passed seven years ago. Anyway, I now keep in touch with his wife and three kids. Barry (her cousin) was a big Beatle fan. Weird that I was texting Barry’s wife about Thanksgiving and a Beatles tune came on. I am too lazy to figure out how to post it but it was “Maybe I’m Amazed”.

Thanks!! It was quite good, and fairly simple. Here's a link to a similar recipe, although the one I used is out of an old cookbook. It was a perfect pairing with the Helles Lager as well.
