Sounds like it's only available at their taprooms, but since that covers both Mid Atlantic and South Atlantic regions, posting here in Beer Releases.

Now if only the release regular Storm King into distribution again....

Was a tasty beer. Too bad they’re using ST bourbon barrels because their whiskey is no bueno imo. Tbf, it’s been a few years since I’ve had it though.

Yeah, the original batches in the 750 ml corked bottles were good stuff.

I wonder if it's really the regular version of Storm King that they barrel age. I would guess they brew a less hopped version for Dark Intrigue because even after 1 year of aging Storm King is still a quite hoppy beer.

Good question. That beer ages well in my experience. Had a 8-10 yr old bottle a few years ago that not only held up, but was actually pretty tasty.

I like that they’re releasing it Wednesday instead of Black Friday. Won’t be able to get there anyway, but still

Sounds like a good beer. Would like to try it. But unlikely to get to a taproom until Christmas time

I don’t know for sure about this particular beer, but due to the oxygen exposure and warmer temperatures, a barrel aged beer will have a bigger drop in IBUs than a bottled beer stored cold with extended aging.
