Good day BAs! Thanks @MadMadMike for opening the bar today! Typical fall/winter/spring day here in NW PA - cold, wet, overcast and generally gloomy. Fortunately today's New Breakfast Beer is golden and bright!



Rowsdower! From Two Plumbers in St. Charles, MO. Named after the Canadian anti-hero from the almost-classic schlock movie "The Final Sacrifice", this beer answers the age-old question "Is there beer on the sun?". That was my favorite episode on MST3K - great riffs!

Final impression and summation: 4 A pleasure to have a non-hazy IPA for a change, as well as one where the malt shines through.

G'day all!

It's starting to snow so I reckoned that it was a good time to pop the cork...err...that didn't work, on this Jubilee brew from Bass, bottled in 1977. Lots of notes of Sherry, malty, boozy, woody. It looks like a bloody quart bottle so that will be it for me today. November 24th? I reckon that has some meaning to me.

Finally, last leave cleanup of the year. Relaxing now with a delicious Guinness - and guess what, I actually like the nitro - doesn't bother me in the least.

Happy Sunday, all. We went to the Chicago Theatre for Annie yesterday. Went to Macys on State Street about four hours before somebody got shot outside the store. Thankfully she’ll live. Today, I’m going to be doing Christmas setup, watch the AEW pay per view from last night, and drink beer. Cheers!

Happy Sunday BA's! It's a cool 66 here this morning on the way to 73 degrees this afternoon. I don't believe we've had a cloud in the sky for at least the last 5 days. Prepping cheese steaks for lunch with an Angry Chair Brujos DDH TIPA colab, Umbrage.

 

Good morning BAs! Up late again, slept in again this morning. Dogs have been fed/walked, kitchen cleaned. Coffee time - Westbrook’s “Mexican Cake”:



Purchased at the brewery earlier this year. Poured at 51°. Spicy hot chilies and chocolate. Just a smidge of cinnamon. My favorite Mexican Cake style stout. Westbrook is the OG.

Lovely fall day. Sunny, 68° with an occasional breeze. I’ve got errands to run today, and I hope to find time for a NBW posting. Cheers and have a super Sunday y’all!
