    Just curious as to what beers everyone has planned for Thanksgiving day. Mine looks like:
    Goose Island BCS and maybe another impy stout
    King Sue
    A couple from Hop Butcher
    Others TBD

    Likely two pumpkin beers I have (Manitou Brewing Co. and a BA imperial pumpkin porter from Epic Brewing Co).

    Perhaps also an Oktoberfest doppelbock, then likely switching to some NA dark beers (Guinness 0 and Deschute's Black Butte NA).

    Yeah, might go with a BCBS but we will also be having a special holiday-themed New Beer Weekend starting that day so I will definitely try something new! Probably a barleywine.

    Right now I'm leaning toward having a white wine with dinner. But I always like a fruity sour to cut all the fat from the food so I'm going to look in the fridge to see if I have a ringer in the back somewhere. If I go out shopping at the local 'tavern' they have a tart cranberry kolsch from Short's on tap that I have a hankering to try so I might get a crowler of that. Then maybe a Chocolate & Coffee KBS for dessert.

    Probably Cantillon Kriek or 2019 DDG that have been in my for a few years now.


    Or some Imperial Stout.If the 2024 BCBS turds our shelves up i may bite.

    I will going to my wife's cousins for Thanksgiving and my 'job' is to provide beer.

    I will be bringing an assortment of homebrewed beers:

    IPA featuring Ekuanot hops
    Harvest Ale brewed with wet/fresh hops from the hop plant in my backyard
    Northern English Brown Ale brewed with some Weyermann Smoked Malt
    Belgian Dubbel
    Saison
    Czech Dark Lager
    English Bitter Ale

    I am sure that there are beers there that will please everyone attending.

    ...that is such an awesome porter...may have one in the Fortress of Solitude beer fridge...but, will likely stay focused with my Fall-themed pumpkin beers and Oktoberfest...
