    look: 4.25 | smell: 4.5 | taste: 4.75 | feel: 4.75 | overall: 4.5

    Dark brown, clear pour, opaque in the glass; one-finger thick head, tan colored and lasting. Rich smells of chocolate and caramel; roasted and charred grain; subliminal whiskey undercurrent. Full, decadent flavor; milk chocolate; dark pitted fruit suggestions with a bit of maraschino cherry; low-key bourbon presence. Heavy, viscous mouthfeel; 10W-50 consistency with the feel; sticky.

    While the packaging suggests drinking this before 2028, I think now works just fine. All of the superlatives of outstanding depth, character and balance apply for this beer. Wonderfully crafted and pairs well with a cold, snowy day.

    Good luck with the snow - here in southern-central MA we're supposed to get rain. I believe Tues or Weds we're supposed to get around 3" of rain which would be a crapload of snow!! Cheers, hope you don't get too much snow.

    Grocery shopping in the books, a nice 3 mile walk, then watched Silkwood with my wife, and now, out on the deck enjoying a Victory Prima Pils on a nice 53° day. Enjoying the nice temps now, because in typical Midwestern fashion, a high of 53° today and a low of 5° come Wednesday night. Cheers!
