    Kicking off with what I'd call a tall boy for Russian Imperial Stout purposes (11% ABV). 16 ounces and strong like bull.

    Speaking of Hall of Famers, I forgot to also congratulate Dick Allen on Monday for his upcoming induction into the BBHOF. He was one of the best hitters in his era, and should have been in decades ago.

    Not gonna lie, a chunk of my family and in-laws are utter shitbirds, but have good “IRL” buddies and of course the Virtual community here (but not only, actually have meet up with some people here) to make up for that. Thanks Vann, that’s really a nice, flattering compliment.

    @ChicagoJ, cheers! My father is anything but flawless but it’s not the right place to rant about it… guess he’s at least a great artist… thanks also for those compliments, engaging words.

    Today's New Breakfast Beer is another "local" brew:

    Looks like rats were trying to eat the label, but getting into the habenaros probably finished them off - I. Pepper. A from Beaver Brewing.

    Style: Follows the style guidelines as condensed by BA, but a better fit for “Chile Beer.”
    Final impression and summation: 3.75 (After deducting 0.25 point for an undated personal container) Lack of information (can date, ABV) is regrettable. However, this is a good chile beer based on an IPA.

    I was in VT this time of year last year and went to Quebec for a daytrip to grab some craft beers. So much fun. I wish it was tiny bit closer so I can do it more often.
