Callista and Mosaic hops taste like shit.

 

I'm inclined to agree re: the Mosaic if I can change the bodily discharge. That one has the reputation of smelling/tasting like cat piss if not brewed fresh or drank fresh.

You didn't use a Winky emoticon so I'm assuming you're serious. (And I know some people will accept that taste.) We all have our own taste sensitivities and that's a 'bad thing' taste for me. I typically stay away from Mosaic hops, but if I order a beer unknowingly with Mosaic and it has that smell/taste, I won't finish it. However, If the brewer has used it fresh, or if the beer itself is fresh, I don't notice it. Usually the hop/beer freshness is usually an unknown thing, so I take the safe route and stay away.

Hot take; wine is only good when you’re too intoxicated to drink any more hard liquor and there’s no beer left at the party…

 

Belgian stouts aren’t good.. at least the few i’ve had(from reputable breweries). Not naming them because i love all their other stuff.

That being said, if every brewery just brewed to their strengths, the shelves would be lined with better beer. Not saying that experimenting should be discouraged, just keep those beers at their brewpub/taphouse and off the shelves.
