I don’t think there’s a specific timeline for either of these beers. Could be 2025. Could be 2028. Could be sometime in between.

 

Just popped my bottle of Tete 2015 that I scored in the vintage sale. It's a delight. Huge oak, white wine, underripe peach. I would prefer maybe slightly less tartness but that just makes it a 9.5/10 instead of a perfect 10 beer. Really fantastic stuff

 

Be on the lookout for an LC drop today. Some sort of collab with Private Press, I think.

 

Ohh. Maybe a Maple in the Wood? (my all time favorite from them, slightly more than BBT)

 

Calendar says, "Sound Cycle vol 1 & vol 2"

 

Keeping the Reverberant series in mind, I'm assuming one will be Rye and the other Bourbon? Hopeful for no adjuncts and a somewhat wallet friendly price point.

1 is a non adjunct bourbon BA stout, 2 is a brandy/cognac BA stout with vanilla

Private press makes great beers and they have a great acronym.

 

Since these beers appear to be unwaxed and are only $35 per bottle, I am assuming wax adds at least $20 to the cost. lol

 

Appervation was the last Brad Clark/Cory King stout collab that I had and I loved it. Hoping Sound Cycle Volume 1 is similar to that

 

Got lucky on the last keg of appervation at Jackie Os in Columbus. Hell of a beer.

 

Almost the end of 2024.

Still no Monkish collab stout.
