The beer/place report queues are finally empty!

    Quick update after a very busy week...
    • Finally cleared over 500 ancient reports; tagged for me to handle; mostly for places
    • Linked hundreds of brewery/taproom chain locations together
    • Deleted hundreds of entries labeled as "duplicate" or "delete" and then "closed" by mods over the years
    • Moved all place reviews that weren't duplicates before deleting duplicates
    • The mod team continues to help me handle hundreds of duplicate beers that were caused by brewery chains not being linked
    • These new admin tools (see related below) will help us to stay on topic of future reports
    That's it for now.

    That is great. I am amazed because seems near an impossible task. I have seen so many duplicates in IPAs with the original plus a DDH version. It's not BeerAdvocates fault, but rather these breweries often drop the DDH in the name as time goes on and it gets a duplicate listing. I just keep working and reporting duplicates.
