Samuel Adams Winter Lager. This one has a lot more grainy flavor to it than I remember from last year. Not bad, I actually like that. I can see where a lot of folks might not like it.



This one of those songs I'll always associate with my family Christmas. My mom playing this on one of those old turntables built into the coffee table (if anyone knows what I'm talking about).

As a recovering Giants fan, I feel for you, brother. I lived and died with them since I was a kid. After several difficult years I've reached the point where I don't watch ANY NFL games. I used to watch 3 every Sunday plus Monday night and sometimes Thursday. It's liberating to do other things: read a book, go for a walk (although too cold today), or spend quality time on BA. Cheers!

 

Took a ride out to the neighbor's house on the Illinois River. Drove out in his Polaris, so pretty out there. We are most likely renting from them for a few weeks in the New Year whilst our floor is getting installed

LOL. It's funny how our perspective changes. Last week at our firm's holiday party I was drinking pinot noir. Someone said to me, "I thought you were a beer guy." I said, "I am. But I can't drink the beer they have (available at the open bar) here." It's hard to explain to a non-beer person.

 

3Fs Blot Ovt the Svn (2022) BA Stout to warm this BA up. I believe this to be an outstanding BA stout w/ultra complexity: RIS notes (dark druits), plus vanilla, and barrel etc..

Watching Women's NCAA Volleyball w/Penn State taking on Louisville for the NCAA Championship. Best of five Series just tied at one each, this is intense! I love playing volleyball but holy cow, if I ever took a shot to the face from one of these girls, I'd be in the E.R. with a concussion. BTW, enjoying this 'Juicer from our Midwest Thanksgiving haul.



Only (18) years old?!! Mind blown and such a joy to listen to, Wow!!
