This is billed as a “Tart honey Saison.” Both are definitely true, and both are certainly mild. BTW, the head was so brief that I was fortunate to get a picture, no second chance with that one. And no lacing either, booooo. Strong musty dust, with modest horse blanket funk. Apple cider and white wine, then most definitely bee’s wax as it warms. While each sip is initially sweet, the tartness quickly takes over and drys it out. Warmth also mitigates the sweetness. White wine, herbal (cardamom water cress, peppery celery). Cereal grain. Looooong dry finish of cilantro with a touch of lime. The honey is mild, really only noticeable with warmth. Medium body, sharp nylon texture, full pricklely carbonation, and mild alcohol. A bit metallic. Not a stellar example of the style, but still a pleasant pre-dinner beer.

First time trying oxbow. This is a solid farmhouse. I like it.
