Spicy breakfast burrito and a great burger! Ate all that and I'm not too stuffed Got 3 Rockstar for the drive home energy.


Land grant Son of a Mudder. Great American brown. Aromas and flavors of big chocolate, cocoa, coffee, roasted nuts, dark bread/crust, wood, peppercorn, pine, herbal, floral, grass. Medium pine/herbal/char bitter finish. Medium carb and body, balance creamy bready malt, sticky/resin hop, and chalky roast mouthfeel. Lingering bitter drying. Minimal acrid/astringency. Adequate hopping and a bit more roasty than most browns, but it's delicious with rich malt complexity. 4/5

Another rainy, albeit mild day here in Central MA. A Guinness is just what the doctor ordered. I don't always follow doctor's orders but this seemed like a reasonable request.
