Lovely 74 degrees and sunny. Heady with a buffalo chicken and barbecue chicken slice.

 

Lunch beer - “Funeral Bock” by Wayfinder Beer, Portland OR:



Canned 10/18/24. Poured at 56°. Mild roast/toasted brown bread/bittersweet dark chocolate. An outstanding Bock, and change of pace from drinking IPAs. Cheers y’all!

 

Avec Frere 5, an excellent Belgian ale from my favorite Virginia brewery, Fine Creek.

Picked up a cold 6'er of this to go with the tapas & chili dinner, along with a cold 6'er of Carlsberg Elephant.
Bottle states "Specially brewed for the unique flavor of an ale and a lager."
So, is it a cream Ale.
