Happy Saturday morning! Shoutout to @dcotom for kicking it off! At Levante Brewing’s taproom with my middle aged degenerate friends enjoying “Anti-Clockwise “ Vanilla Espresso Porter!

 

Watching our Lady Hoosiers take on #1 UCLA and sipping on this hoppy British Style IPA from the brew kettle of @The_Kriek_Freak. Reminds me of Hop Devil from Victory!

Seedz Map Change Altbier at the source. Been a bit since I was last here and boy do I miss it! Getting toasted brown bread, little coffee, tiny bit of some type of fruitiness, little caramel, little bitterness and earthiness. Malty flavors, but crisp and clean with a soft, cushy feel. Maybe my favorite altbier. Delicious.

NBW cross-post. Haand Bryggeriet Of Wood & Smoke. An aquavit barrel-aged smoked lager. This is an intense experience. It is a great beer to start with as the frozen tundra in Green Bay, Wisconsin, lives up to its name.

Our Lady Hoosiers continue to struggle against a gargantuan UCLA team so getting Willetized while making a pot of Chick-fil-a chile. I usually grill my own chicken but shaking it up since I love their grilled nuggets so much (and being a little lazy too, I guess ).

Seedz Cerveza Seedz Mexican Style Lager. I’m not even a big Mexican lager fan, but this one just does it for me. So crisp, clean, and bright with oyster cracker, some breadiness, and an earthy hop character. Basically a very well done Vienna lager.

 

ISIL cross-post. 3 Sheeps Brewing The Wolf Elijah Craig 18-Year-Old Single Barrel. The ABV is cranked up to 14.1%. The bourbon flavor hits you right away. Everything is more intense. This is a special beer. @Danmullens1 certainly approves.
