O man. I've had the Heady 20th a couple of times, but never had Snowed In.

Looks like I still need 4:

    3. M.J.K.
    45. Snowed In - Bourbon Barrel Aged
    190. Cutting Tiles - Galaxy
    223. A Thousand Summers

If anyone has any of the above and is willing to trade...

Just about everyone I know chasing is waiting on cutting tiles galaxy. I messaged the brewery not to long ago on Instagram and they said it def will be brewed again…just no time table. So I guess for now it cannot be retired.

From your list…a thousand summers should be the easiest to come by.

Im iso of just 3 to complete the list

    cutting tiles galaxy
    Ft point mosaic
    Ba Snowed in

I’ve been working on the list from May 2013 when I first got heavy into craft. Only one I have left is PvW BM which finally dropped again. Just saw it close for DB KBBS so I guess I’ll be waiting another 12 years for batch 3.

I'm about to crack 112 out of 250....and this was 10 years in the making

I'm also at 52 out of 119 top style ticks.

But the other ones I'm kind of proud about are 84 countries (without traveling) and all US states

MJK would be heckin' difficult to trade for without substantial whiskies and/or beers to offer. They have had it available on-site at Side Project a lot the past year or so - may be easier to fly to STL, tick it, and move on, lol. That's the only reason I've been able to tick it, but I'm not very good at the high level trades.

What are the thoughts on the recently released PVW black Magick?

Should this be a separate entry on BA or should this “unretire” the original entry? I actually created a new entry for it as black Magick - PVW 23 year. But maybe that would be considered a duplicate entry and they should be merged? Should an admin be asked to merge the two or worthy of separate entries?

Usually if the only difference in the beer is the barrel, we treat it as one beer and any difference can be noted in the notes.

    I’m impressed.
    I may need to learn to trade, but I have a hard time tracking down the BA stouts at the top of the list. Up here in Vermont, I’ve checked off lots of IPAs, noting the fact that Treehouse seems somewhat over-rated and KBS should rated higher than than most IPAs from,Treehouse;

I’m at 31 of 250 on that list—not too shabby, given that the top 250 is a constantly moving target and I’m not even trying. Most of those beers are probably also not available in my area, but I haven’t spent any time checking.

I’m partial to the Beers of Fame (154 of 250) and Popular beers (172 of 250) as those beers have stood the test of time.

    Cheers!

I resonate with this. I'm at 43 on the 250 and not chasing anything. I could probably tick a half dozen more with beers available on the shelf. Fame and Popular beers seem a lot more attainable especially for non-traders.

Super-impressed with the folks who are just a handful from completing the list. You've had some awesome beers. Cheering for yall to complete the 250.

Yep, all due respect to those willing to chase these elite beers—it’s a level of effort, time, and money I’m not willing to invest, but ticking all 250 is certainly quite an accomplishment. Then staying on top of the list over time is yet something else again, as I believe beers are constantly moving on and off this list.

It’s been a lot of fun chasing down these beers. It’s taken my wife and I to some pretty cool places, Ebenezer’s in Maine for 3F schaarrbeekse, Himmeriget for Blåbær, and a few trips to Decorah for KBBS and Assasin plus plenty of other adventures. Met some pretty cool and generous people too, free bottles of BA Abraxas and NG VSB come to mind. It’s expensive no doubt but so glad I did it. 1 more to go!

I don't even know how I would be able to get ahold of the majority of the beers on the top 250 list, plus, many I wouldn't want to.
Central Pa is a craft/import beer desert, availability wise.
I'm sure as hell not paying shipping for them.
It is nice to see ones on the list that I have had the pleasure of sampling though.
I just stick with the styles I like. I've got my own list, lol.
