    Good news, fellow advocates. I've developed a prototype snowman who produces lagers for minimal expense (and upkeep).

    I ordered a Holographic Heart Golden Ale, and he came through big time!

    David, I suspect your BA Barleywine is much better than the sour apple bomb i cracked opened. Be safe if driving later, i hope we avoid the sleet/freezing rain/black ice.

    As mentioned, into an apple brandy barrel aged barleywine (20 months) after 12 months in JIm Beam casks...unfortunately this is way to sour for my tastes, suspect some lacto infection. Oh well.

    I love that beer. We get other Schilling products pretty regularly, but I haven't encountered Karlův in a long time. Would go well with our snow today.

    Absolutely would pair well with snow! Meanwhile none here in central NH haha. Opposite world!

    Schilling has Modernism now out concurrently, so there are 2 of the style to chose from.

    For my tastes tho, Karlův is hands down fave. Cheers!
