Warmer temps have returned (40's) melting away Black Ice.
Sampling another Monday Night Brewing from ATL offering and listening to Classic Rock BBQ from Sirius, a Stones offering from my younger days. Lyric translation is for @Shanex in case he needs it .
    Cheers!

There's something special about pink elephants.

    Also Heffalumps and Woozles.

    Cheers!

This beer is really good - I picked up another 4 pack today. It's a really nice change from IPA's and hazies. @SawDog505 - you should give this one a try if you see it. I don't know if it's your style though, but it's delicious (Conway NH - Tuckerman's Brewing).

Grandmas are special, for us youngsters. Both mine passed away, but they had their share of wisdom and witty quotes.

I'm sighin' down the wind so sadly
A-listen and you'll hear me moan
Well I'm a talkin' 'bout the midnight gambler
    And everybody got to go

Onto round 2 and putting a wrap on the 2024 Hopslam edition. Not as awesome compared to the early years of having it but still winds up as an annual pickup.
    Cheers!

Afternoon stouts for me show how bad I need beer in my fridge. Breakfast or as a closer most often.

It's not really very hoppy, really nicely balanced. Wonderful creamy mouthfeel - best winter ale I've tried this year. Cheers bud!

Wise man. I gave it a 4.29 (+7.8%). Even moreso underrated with us tugging the rating up!

Beautiful for sure! Of course, this was a bit before my attention to detail in music even though i have memories of Midnight Rider being a favorite as a kid...Was this post Duane (may he RIP)?

No colorful sky to close this day's light.

Oh well, the Stone is drinking superbly on an Urquell-less day.

This is interesting. Not quite a side by side comparison but a distant one between the same Best Bitter cask ale vs canned version. I drank the cask ale version yesterday at Good Word Brewing and brought home the canned version. Drinking the canned one now. The cask ale version is markedly better. It can still recall the fruity esters and soft mouth feel. The canned version I notice the malt more - caramel & grainy notes, less of the esters and, obviously, the carbonation. Very instructive. I'd reach for the cask ale version first every time.

Digital Comforts English style Best Bitter 3.9% cask ale...
