if they rebrewed it, it would be on a big anniversary, I'd have to think.

If anything, I am baffled why him and Michael haven’t taken time to just make a video about it and address the fact that they are probably the most transparent large Brewery there is, about everything accept GM. He has given us insight into almost anything and everything including hours about hoses, tanks and automation controls. Down to selfie drives through Boston in Nates personal car, his wife on cam giving him the beer. We all want to know why they have never chosen to even acknowledge GM, in the years since they have boomed. It would be good information for people to have and he could even guide you to the similar brands he makes. Which would absolutely spike sales.

It would probably be their most watched video and the sharing of it in sure would be nuts if you ran the analytics.

Impermanence is probably the closest we'll ever get.

But yeah I would think Nate would say something about it after all these years.

Its just kinda weird cuz they’ve been pumping out maple milk stouts. But they basically haven’t made a non lactose maple stout since. (Persist is an exception but BA, and I think they’ve had maple double shot on tap a couple times. But no real releases.)

No, you’ll have to look at social media to see what they’ve put out.

Most of their canned stouts are always milk stouts with a coffee base + adjunct.

I think Moment of Patience is pretty tasty. The barrel aged component is definitely there (if not completely forward) and the beer is very well blended. Gives it a kind of maple chocolate whiskey fudge profile. Worth getting for anyone who's a fan of Moment of Clarity.

Glad to hear. No idea when I’ll be up next, but I’ll grab that and the barleywines if still there

Anyone tried the January Julius and/or January Haze? Trying to dial back on the IPA/DIPAs for a few weeks and work on the dad bod. Stumbled on the Swish Sliver last week at my local wine shop and thought it was excellent.

Decided to pick up From Fields to Grass. The hop combo of Citra, Cascade and Nelson sounded too good to pass. Also, it’s 7.8% abv which is right in the Goldielocks zone for TH to me. If anyone else picked up any of the other “brewer vs brewer” beers, we should compare here

I started with Steady Glow -- 8.3 percent DIPA. Reminded me a lot of the recent Curiosity 10 reboot in that Monson mouthfeel -- hard to explain, but felt like that old school Tree House.

Citra, Pink, Nectaron and Pacific Sunrise. Thought it was excellent and wouldn't hesitate to pick up a four-pack of this.

Onto Whispers of a Ghost ...

We were in Boston today and got lucky with a spot near the Pru. Walked from Copley mall to the TH stand. Grabbed four more Blue Star coffee and did decide to buy the moment two pack. Excited to try it in Feb. Already have a few things in the fridge from this dry month to try so held off on the brewers mixed pack. Although, now I feel I’m missing out.

Say what you want about the other treehouse locations. But I haven’t been through the mall and back bay for a while. I just don’t miss the weirdos, rudeness, people walking into you and chaos of it all. Puts the beer crowds into perspective.

I know in the grand scheme, it doesn’t matter, but I love these new cold brew cans. Not only the new shape, but the art is really nice. Frost, in particular has a very sexy can, and it’s one of the best tasting coffees I’ve had from them.

From Fields to Glass was pretty good. Huge honeydew/cantaloupe, and it wasn’t green in any way.
C11 is quite different. No sweetness, more bitterness and body. Both very solid

Thrice Baked was also pretty good, but not quite at the level of some of their best barrel aged barleywines. Maybe my expectations were just too high for it. I was really happy it wasn’t just a sweet beetus mess. Liked it a lot, but probably would not spend $22 on a second bottle. Heavily looking forward to Double Barrel Tree of Light. ToL is one of my top two barleywines of all time (VSOJ). Bought 2 bottles of that. My wallet!

My final order of what I enjoyed from most to least ended up being Steady Glow, From Fields to Glass, Whispers of a Ghost and Windswept.

I thought Steady Glow was great and will most likely go back for another four pack if still available. From Fields was also very good. Whispers was fine; didn't really care for Windswept.

Will be interested to see what others thought too! I haven't watched the video yet or voted on the card they hand out with the four pack but will get around to it...

The video doesn't give you any real info other than a nice introduction to the brew staff. I must have misplaced the vote card, or they just didn't give it to me (I was literally the first person to pick up cans on Saturday, so maybe they weren't in the groove yet). Not that it matters, I've only tried the one.

    inb4 Windswept is Nate's
