rarer mid week jaunt these days. they're cutting the power til 8AM at work today & i'm just not up to dealing with goofing off til then or waiting around here to insert myself in the thick of the morning commute just to arrive around that time. so home it is today.

Another cellar review, this one a comparison with the bottle I enjoyed last Friday from a vintage four years older.

3 Sheeps Veneration (2022)



Cellar review linked here. Bottom line, the aroma held up much better with the 2018 bottled edition, but all other aspects are about the same. Wish 3 Sheeps kept their bottle line for this one, to keep Cashmere Hammer still alive and other great bottle selections from them over the years.

Somewhat wish we had internet back in the day where I would have likely come across great bands introduced to me in WBAYDN like Joy Division, who I believe I was only familiar with Love Will Tear Us Apart in high school. Corporate radio was / is mostly lame with very narrow depth, even in a large city.

A lot more caramel sweetness than I expected. Nice bitter finish though
