The time has come to launch attacks on porches around the country! Barleywines and Stouts only! Pairings will arrive in your inbox over the next 3 hours! First - a huge thanks to Dan (@DIM) and Ryan (@snaotheus ) for their massive help getting this going. I am so thrilled that this is happening, and I'm even more thrilled to have these guys help out. Here is a brief recap of the rules (read them carefully!): *Official share date: weekend of March 7th-10th *At least 96 ounces of barleywine/stout to your target (if you are sending multiple boxes (which most do), they can be spread out!) *At least one Mystery Beer. *One item of swag if you would like (preferences will be included when I send you your target) *You must drink at least one of your received beers on the official share weekend (post here and the NEW BEER WEEKEND thread). Try to make one of these a mystery beer! *Post clues in this thread and BE ACTIVE. Stay up-to-date by FOLLOWING this thread. There is nothing worse that being the target of someone who never posts. ------ When you call out your potential sender, do so in this thread. The sender should acknowledge your guess! ------ When a box arrives, please POST A PICTURE in the hauls thread AND here in this thread. Always tag your sender! If you aren't used to posting pics, please let me know and I can walk you through it! ------ When you try a beer from your box(s), POST A PICTURE in this thread and tag your sender! Share some thoughts about it! ------ When you try your mystery beer, post the hidden beer and your thoughts BEFORE determining the beer's identity. Try to guess what it is (barleywine or stout; any adjuncts?; Barrel aged? If so, what kind of barrels?) DON'T FORGET TO UPDATE YOUR BEER LIST, INCLUDING WANTS. Go ahead and list your Untappd name (if you have one) below if you would like to share it. I feel SO MUCH like this kid right now!

First hints- My target has a longer username than I do. I have reviewed more barleywines than my target.
For the record, because it's so important to you all, amongst us we have 1,043 American Barleywine reviews/ratings, and 995 English Barleywine. Not that anyone's counting... @DIM
Incidentally, @micada is apparently the most focused reviewer we have...56.01% of his reviews fall into the style category of "Stouts" @WunderLlama is the second-most focused reviewer...42.68% of his reviews fall into the IPA category. @micada is the only one of us (who enters reviews) who doesn't have any reviews/ratings in any category -- the Wheat Beers category. But this BIF shouldn't address that deficiency. Not officially, anyway.
