A truly great review. It's so impressive that these guys have grown so much, have multiple crowded locations, Tewksbury parking is like Trader Joe's the day before Thanksgiving... And the fucking beers and coffee are unaffected. The employees handle everything thrown at them too, and generally are awesome about everything.

Don’t forget to sprinkle a little market basket parking lot on top of Joes.

They worked their asses off today. And they’re always really cool about making sure you get what you need and enjoy.

We also realize we weren’t the only shrews coming out of their lame January holes to imbibe today. Many more of us crawling over today.

It was impossibly crowded last Saturday too. We were going to take the kid in for pizza but didn’t even bother at 4ish. They are pumping a Super Bowl event, it might be the right time to go actually.

This batch is crazy. It's a good thing I'm caffeine sensitive or I'd probably end up drinking multiple at a time.

It’s a coffee mounds bar in a can, ridiculously good.

Probably everyone finishing their dry january showed up just like you.

I had Coquito (the stout) on tap and it was phenomenal. Also agree about the coconut latte. It’s a little sweet for the morning (I take no sugar in my coffee), but makes for a perfect dessert coffee option. So good

Drinking Hold onto Moonlight - despite the dissertation description. Tastes pretty much identical to HOTS. Maybe slightly sweeter, but it’s the same beer. Same adjuncts, same abv. Honestly seems like a pointless offering. What am I missing? Luckily it’s good

I'm definitely gonna recommend picking up Evolution of Citra part three if you can. I didn't care for the first two but this one is giving me Curiosity 10 vibes (just without the mosaic).

It’s pretty good. Maybe slightly green, but should be better in a week. I’m of the belief that hops complement each other, and single hop offerings are usually a little weaker than a standard beer that has 2-3 hop varieties

I've actually noticed a lot of their beers lately have been green (not Green), and you're right about this one.

Seems they're likely working on balancing the hops or whatever the fuck idk I don't brew beer. Even regular J was a bit green. But it’s only a couple days old so I suspect this might just be how it is now. And only 7 or so years after it happened to Trillium.

Anyone have Milky King J? I had a nice little stretch of grabbing a 4 pack of something new each week for the past month but held off last week. That one had me considering a Pru stop.

It's a good beer, nothing worth making a trip out of. This is another one of those offerings that doesn't make sense. It's a different grain bill, different hopping regiment, and lower abv. It's not King Julius, but it does have a very similar flavor profile to Julius, but more generic orange juice taste

I'm very excited to try Big Bear barrel blend. Sounds like it'll be a brown ale disguised as a stout, which is awesome.

Swung by Tewksbury last weekend and so far, the two standouts have been Moment of Patience and Golden Rose.

Golden Rose has the classic Tree House taste, with a bit more oomph and complexity from being a triple and the Nelson Sauvin-Waimea-Paradisi hop combo.

I have been pretty disappointed by stouts from Tree House, but Moment of Patience is really really good. Just enough sweetness from the maple to make it stand out. Other stouts have felt a little muddled to me, but this was real smooth and just a perfect combo of the adjuncts.

Honorable mentions: Big Bear Barrel Blend is tasting pretty good, but will be even better with time. Milky King Julius is solid, as expected, though I feel like I need to a do a side-by-side with the OG King.

I concur that Big Bear Barrel Blend is incredible. It's a stout, though. Let's be real.

Big Bear Coffee is what Double Shot should be.

And yes both versions are stouts.

Bear in general is a fantastic beer, same ballpark as George for me.

Snagged Curiosity 8 today, and 151 sounds good too but did not feel like $42 was the responsible choice. (This post has been brought to you by The Coalition for Bringing Singles Back).

Curiosity 8!! Classic yeast thing there in spades. Old description named it as an Amarillo focused beer and I won’t claim to know outright but that feels like it tracks. Could stand to settle another few days if you’re sensitive to the chalkiness thing but this one is can’t miss imo.

Truth and Vanilla Bean Truth today.

I find it so tough to pull the trigger on these larger format bottles though. $40 and $45 respectively.
