    It's past 8pm here in Oz, and since no-one has turned the keys on the virtual bar I suppose I'd better do the honours!

    This beer is Yona Yona Ale by Yo-Ho Brewing Company, muled to me from Japan by my Old Man. It's a bitter, dank, grapefruity pale ale, which is not what anyone else reports the beer as being, so I assume it got angrier as it winged its way towards me. Still, I love its current form!

    Anyway, pull up a chair at the bar - the cricket is on if you're interested, and Australia's best batsman of the 21st century is in full flight - and let us know what you're drinking!

    Still foggy, sun still MIA. Still cold, dreary.

    Went to the Physical therapist and we talked about my progress re: my knee as I was hurt for a year it has taken a lot of efforts and resilience to finally achieve something good and better.

    This is a pretty awesome Pilsner from Moonlight Brewing Company. Imagine that!
    Canned December 30th, I added it to the database. I am going to review it rather than just tick it. It's worthy.

    Greetings Advocates!

    Running errands after digging out from a solid snowstorm.

    Neighbor and I cut in a couple miles of fresh track in the deep snow on the lake from our back yards to a nearby State Park on a fun, difficult snowshoeing adventure yesterday. We have an eagle nest at our beach, and all 5 American bald eagles were out playing and frolicking in the falling snow overhead, purely having fun. Never gets old having those birds around. They've been here 5 years now, and this year was the 3rd set of eaglets launched.

    Grabbing some Lunch while out...

    ...of the Maine Beer Company variety!

    Cross post from NA beer thread. Came to Halfway Crooks to pick up some Linus. Thought I would try their NA beer. This is Brevet NA beer from Halfway Crooks in GA. Not sure what hops they are using. It has quite a bitter presence. Light bodied with grain and lemon notes. This tastes very much like a alcoholic pils. It just has a little too much bitterness for me. Excellent effort here from the local brewery.
