    Hey everyone. I am going to give away a 23 and a 24 Solstice Stout via a raffle. I will ask you to leave your name here in the response and I will put them all in a bowl and pick out 2 random names. Once the names are drawn, I will get your shipping information and get them out to you. I know they are no longer on the top 250, but they seem to pop in and out of the rankings. If you would like to partake, please just respond with your name or user name and I will get this underway. I am looking to keep this alive for a week to give people a chance to get signed up.     Sorry for the delay, got called out to the Prison for an issue. I just got in now and pulled the 2 names who will get the Solstice Stout. The winner of the 2024 is ilikebeer03 and the winner of the 2023 is BlackToothGrin. Sorry it was very anti-climatic as far as results and announcements.     2024 Solstice Stout arrived safe and sound today! The mail currier could have punted the box all the way to my mailbox and the beer wouldn't have broken - top notch packaging!

    I'm taking the month of Feb off from alcohol with some friends, but this will definitely be one of the first beers I drink in March. Can't wait!

    @noblepudding Getting around to drinking this after taking Feb off from alcohol and then, of course, getting sick heading into March. Here's my review. I really enjoyed it! Thank you again!

    Pour is jet black with a deep brown finger of head that fades to a nice ring around the glass.
    Nose is a big wave of bourbon, chocolate, fudge, roasted malt, some molasses and dates.
    Taste is a big hit of milk chocolate, followed by bourbon before drifting into coffee, roasted malts, molasses, dates, lingering toasted marshmallow, some estery yeast notes show up as the beer warms.
    Full, creamy body. Easy to sip - a big beer that doesn't get too sweet.

    Overall this is a very good beer. Complex and balanced. Nothing dominates
