Popped over to Little Miss Brewing in San Diego this afternoon. Had some nice offerings.

    Tropic Thunder

    On tap at Little Miss.
Brassy hue. Solid white fluff. Good retention. Layered lacing.
Piney. Hints of orange. Mild breast notes underneath.
Flavor is straight forward old school, pine and citrus, meets tropical nuances of pineapple and hints of berry.
    Mouthfeel is fine for style.

    M30 A really solid DIPA

Pretty. Golden, slight fluffy white head that quickly tapers off to a ring. Delicate, sparse lacing.
Mild notes of grass and I think bubblegum and berry.
Flavor really bounces back and forth between berry and bubblegum first. Then hints of very mild onion, green grass, apricot skin.
Mouthfeel is spot on for style. Medium heft, light carb, slick finish.

And a really interesting take on an English Barleywine

    Candy Bomber

Pours a beautiful amber hue. Almost no head. Diminutive off white ring.
Nose begins with a mildly fruity and sweet notes of apple, pear, apricot and peach… basically like the aromatic version of the fruit floating in a fantastic sangria.
Flavor goes with the nose but takes that and then leans in the direction of smooth, expected for style notes, dates and figs.
    Mouthfeel is fine for style.
Overall, a really interesting take on style.

Mahones may be a great QB, but tonight he was schooled.
Last but not least is one from Southern Tier-

Might have had this one in the cellar for a while so take this with the grain of salt.
The pour is stout black with a very, very thin light brown head.
The taste is undeniably hazelnut forward, with stout playing the host. Almost Nutella like with the chocolate aspect of the stout, no hops and no hard edges at all. Curiously unsweet, but very tasty.
The feel is not particularly viscous but not thin either. Excellent quaff ability.
OA, excellent if you’re a fan of Nutella, if not, you might want to give this one a pass.
    Cheers all!

They are weak other than Center on the O-Line. Plus, the refs couldn't let them win all season...
