I'm looking for a brewery/taphouse/good beer spot in Vancouver, WA that lets you bring in your own food.

    Any suggestions?

Trap Door would likely be your best bet Eric. The Vancouver outpost, not the Washougal version.

There are food trucks adjacent to the taproom, should you wish to augment your meal. Also, the owner is a Portland Timber affiliate of some kind, so all Timber games are televised there (should that be something of import during your visit).

It's right on Main St. and is easy to get to. Typically, street parking in the local neighborhood is very easy to find.

I'll ask: why this particular set of requirements?

Hoping to meet up with some friends who live in Vancouver in the next couple of weeks, and one of them has some impressive allergies/sensitivities. We can avoid some major hassles if they can bring their own food.

Welp, this is pretty late. But I live in Vancouver. Trap Door is probably the best option in town for your friend. There are Thai and Mexican food trucks adjacent; once I had a very tasty quesadilla from the Mexican truck and a mild tummy upset afterwards. If you like Mexican I highly recommend takeout from Provecho in the same neighborhood.

Full disclosure - I live near Trap Door and may not be up on options in other parts of town.

Not late at all! We're getting together a couple weekends from now, so your info is timely.

Also: thanks for the Provecho tip. Looking forward to checking them out.

La Bottega, also in the same neighborhood, makes very good sandwiches.

I went to Trap Door over the weekend, definitely my favorite brewery up there. The one time I tried that adjacent Mexican truck, I had similar results to yours. I have not tried Provecho - looks good. The missus and I are quite fond of Little Conejo in downtown Vancouver - had some great tacos this weekend as well. They always have at least one decent beer on draft and a solid-looking cocktail program too.

Thanks to everyone who recommended Trap Door. It was exactly what we were looking for, and their beergarden was especially comfortable this afternoon.

Mrs. vurt had a Trap Door IPA (left), and I enjoyed For Evergreen and Gold IPA (right), a Timbers-themed beer that was more juicy than hazy. We are definitely looking forward to meeting our Vancouver friends there again soon. (And maybe adding a stop at Irrelevant Beer, since it's nearby.)
