    Welcome to another edition. This one is another Cellaruary cross post for me. Before I dive in, just want to note today is the 20th anniversary of New Beer Sunday, founded on Sunday February 20, 2005. We will celebrate this milestone over the weekend, and hope you all can stop in and enjoy a new beer or two.

    Cellaruary thread review linked here. WBAYDN take, this held up very well, flavors changed somewhat but a pleasant surprise after about 4 1/2 years. Basement stored for much of the journey. Well done Larry Bell!

    Cheap and reliable is what we would (still) call a go-to in my mind.

    Right now I’m enjoying a Size 7 from Steel Toe. Reliably good (it rates better than “Okay” here at BA) and the price at retail hasn’t changed enough that I’ll go to the larger packages from other, much, much larger brewers (from much further away) more often than I’ll grab this one which is truly local.

    Glad you can get that beer. It's pretty durable. I truly miss one of their beers called Lagunitas Sucks. Man that was a good one. Plenty of other American IPAs, esp Hazies, seem to be a bit more fragile. I've had some fantastic tasting very fresh NEIPAs (cans/bottles) and even with ideal storage conditions and not being touched, they begin to change on their own after about 3 weeks. :beers::beers:

    I remember about Sucks and Born Yesterday from Lagunitas; the only reason they never got over here is they need to be drank asap, no point in shipping them overseas. Cheers!

    I have been MIA the past couple of days. I got really sick. Heat, humidity, sun, lack of water and too much beer knocked me out. Enjoying my first Belikin Light in a couple days.

    Westbrook 2025 Madeira Barrel Aged Mexican Cake
    A Madeira barrel that had BLACKENED whiskey in it, then Mexican Cake with added cocoa nibs, cinnamon, chiles, and vanilla.
    The "Extra Viejo" makes me feel seen.

    Bommen&Granaten (Bombs&Grenades) Barley Wine from De Molen. As long as supply will last. Beer is somewhat running out in the shop I noticed when I was at De Molen bottle shop in Bodegraven. Luxury problem here, compared with real bombs & grenades running out in other places.

    Cheers, just curious did following dry January had any positive impact on you? Weight loss or lower transaminases, better sleep?
