A bobcat just waltzed by. Haven't seen one in ages.

Phone was on charger in another room, so no pic. Bummer.

For a residential neighborhood it's interesting that I've had deer, bear, fox, coyote, rabbit, and of course bald eagles all in my back yard. Not at the same time tho haha!

Just chillin' with an Urquell and keeping things mellow this evening.

1) Founders’ Porter (6.5%): An American Porter with flavors of dark cocoa, milk chocolate, smooth and mild roast.
versus
2) Equilibrium Mobius (7.0%): An American Porter from NY with flavors of dark chocolate, cocoa, dark sweet fruit. Sweet. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

American Porter Battle. First is Founders. One of the best. Smooth cocoa and chocolate. Incredible softness and smoothness.
Next is Equilibrium Mobius. My first try at this. Pours with zero head. Picks up on the flavor with sweet dark chocolate and dark fruit. Leans sweet. Pretty good, but seems undercarbonated. Founders is hard to beat.
Winner: Founders Porter

I have always loved this one, but lately it has hit the spot particularly well...Hofbrau Dunkel, make it a double

Double the Dunkel, and double Mingus. With two of my favorite albums by him spinning this afternoon. Ah Um, and Tijuana Moods.

 

Love me some Hofbrau Dunkel too. Nice choices all around and two is always better than one in my book. Cheers!

Believe it or not @champ103 I already had this Dunkel teed up next but nonetheless your Hofbrau Dunkel is inspirational. Enjoying this wonderful local one from Round Trip Brewing - Dunkel Platz. The world needs more Dunkel in it! Prost!

 

Waiting for dinner and sipping this.

 

There is only one local brewery to me that makes a really good Dunkel, Equal Parts. Though they haven't made it in a while...they did make a version of it and added chocolate. Which ruined the beer for me, but I guess it was way more popular, go figure, ha.

I love double nuggle! only seen regular so far this year, so maybe I'll have to drink twice as many to replicate the experience.
