Maple syrup is too strong, or not strong enough, in a lot of imperial stouts, but in this case, the maple syrup flavor is just right. Please join us for @LarryV's Zoom BeerAdvocate virtual bottle share at 8pm EST tonight. Last time we had an excellent turnout, with four countries and three continents represented. It is so fun to see and hear a long-term and frequent BeerAdvocate contributer that you have interacted with for years for the first time. And I also really appreciate how just about everyone I talk with mentions how Wisconsin's dialect is likely the most beautiful rendition of the English language on the planet.

One more pour at Brix City; this one from a cellared barrel: 2018 Silk City Cognac. I didn’t have it when released 7 years ago but Wow, has it aged well! Full-flavored but soft as fleece. Cheers from Little Ferry, NJ!

 

Woke up feeling like crap, only one way to find out if I can drink whatever Ive got out of me.
