9.99 here for a sixer of a decent,although brewery is tainted by racism, beer

 

It's pretty good and fresh. The store has several other Irish Red Ales as well so might try another brewery. Cheers!!

Pours a cloudy, pale, faint yellow that is too opaque to see through and has a quickly disappearing head giving way to small lacing. Smells of barnyard, bread, hops, and sweet corn. Taste is crisp and refreshing with appropriate hop bitterness for the style and has a dry, bready finish. While pilsners (and lagers for that matter) tend to fall low on my taste preferences in comparison to other "big beer" styles, this is 100% crushable and gives me a level of appreciation for brewers not having anywhere to hide in this style.

I’m in Florida this week for work. This evening, I’m in Tampa, and I’m sitting at the bar at Cigar City, my first visit to this iconic brewery.

I’m so happy, I could cry.

This is Jai Alai Double IPA, uber fresh (vs the 5-months-old version I get in Northern Indiana) and packed with big citrus and caramalt flavors. Absolutely love it.

Epic Big Bad Baptist Cinnamon Roll, 9.8% ABV. Pours black with a 1+ finger light-brown head that left no lacing. Aroma is coffee, icing, and strong cinnamon. Taste follows, plus cacao, faintly sweet, slightly bitter. Whiskey is well hidden. Thin mouthfeel, overall excellent.

#2, this is a double pour of BBA Outskirts, Cigar City’s massive (13.8%) bourbon barrel aged imperial porter that made by the blackberry flavor mixed into.

That’s right, blackberry. World class stuff, IMHO.
