What beer are you drinking now? #4520

Kona Brewing Gold Cliff IPA. This one I don't think was actually brewed in Hawaii. Still tastes good though and gives you that island feeling.

If I had to talk about what in my opinion (and not only, given the awards received in international beer festivals) are the Italian beer excellences, I would certainly include this reference.
I have put it above several times, it is always wonderful, even though the style it belongs to is not the favorite of my canons of taste.
Precisely for this reason, in threads like "After the "Big 4", Which Country Would Be #5?" I believe that the real challenge is to give an answer that is not generic or superficial.
Because to express a respectable opinion, you should review many excellences and compare them as much as possible with similar references from other countries... As far as I am personally concerned, it is utopian. However, I do not exclude that someone else, who perhaps has a different profession than mine, has traveled a lot and could make this sort of parallelism between beer excellences from different countries, at least to a minimal extent given the vastness of the things that there would be to taste.
Otherwise, responding to a discussion like this just for the sake of it only highlights the (beer) ignorance that chains us to preconceptions or ideas based on a few references and used extensively.

Birrificio di Cagliari (Sardegna, ITA) - FIGU MORISCA - Blanche with prickly pear and bitter orange peel (5.2%)

I hope you can taste it at least once in your life because, I repeat, this is - IN MY HUMBLE AND PERSONAL OPINION - the best Italian (fruit) blanche.

Second place: "FLEUR SOFRONIA" by MC77 (with hibiscus flowers)
Third place: "HABIBI" by Resaka Brewing Tribe (with fresh organic lemon and citron peels)

G'day all!

Looks like some significant snow headed my way. We've only had small drops of snow all winter long.

I'm sipping on another Bourbon County Brand Stout. I have not bought a lot of them. Certainly not as many as in the past. No slight on it as it tastes as good as ever. I reckon that my palate now prefers something a little more easy to drink. Like Pilsners.

Good day BAs! Thanks @LesDewitt4beer for opening the bar! It's 50 F and cloudy, with rain expected - but it's not too unusual to get snow into May and, occasionally, June. This year I'm going to just plant beans, squash, and peppers - any tomatoes will be grown in pots, since Mrs Lizard wants them but never eats them - why waste garden space.

Final impression and summation: 4 Decent flavor and weak aroma – probably due to being a crowler. Still, this is a brew I’d probably never have gotten to try otherwise (In all my trips to Grand Rapids, I’ve never been able to work in a visit to Founders).

Also selected a BCBS this morning (though older). This will be the first year I don't seek to buy any BCBS since my entry into craft beer in 2015, even the deep deal clearance sales I've come across the past five years. Just have too many old cellar beers to work through, even after clearing 18 during Cellaruary.

Lawsons Double Sunshine DIPA

 

Flensburger Pils. German excellence.

 

Happy Wednesday ba. Normal day off here so I’m getting into it. III, third anniversary dipa, Sand City. They’re running back through each year every month leading up to their 10th year. Pretty sure it’s ddh’ed w/ citra, mosaic, & galaxy. Regardless, it’s nicely hop forward with subtle fruit notes. A tad sweet but rather smooth and juicy. Not my favorite but still well done,
