What beer are you drinking now? #4528

1) Phase Three Be Cappy (7.8% canned 2/13/25): A NEIPA from Chicago with Citra, Amarillo, and Alora for flavors of orange zest and yuzu.
versus
2) Phase Three Linear Gradient (7.8% canned 2/17/25): A NEIPA from Chicago with Citra, Amarillo, & Moteuka for flavors of orange, tangelo, some smooth lime and mango. (Mismatched the two beers blind)

Phase Three NEIPA Battle. First is Be Cappy. Orange hop flavors with some Alora for some bright citrus zest. Very nicely done and the Alora provides a nice citrus zest.
Next is Linear Gradient. Very similar hop flavors but with Moteuka instead of the Alora. Moteuka gives it that extra green lime and mango skin note. This Moteuka hop is becoming popular and for good reason. I really dig the Moteuka hop flavor.
Winner: Phase Three Linear Gradient

New Glarus Black Top (6.9% no bottling date): A Black IPA from Wisconsin with flavors of orange citrus, bitter pine and lightly toasty and roasted notes. Clean.

Great Black IPA and one of the best I've had from New Glarus. Still drinking well from the fall time. This could be a flagship.

Good afternoon BAdvocates. Drinking my last Fall River Numb Numb Juice Hazy IPA. Finally! Not a terrible beer but glad to be done with ‘em! Cooler temperatures in the mid forties today but pleasant enough.

I know, this doesn't count, but it's beer & I'm having it now.
One of my Aventenus Weizenbock clone bottles that didn't fit in the keg. It's pretty damn tasty.
I've got the keg lagering in my underground root cellar room.
It stays in the 50's most time of the year. I hope to be tapping it in April or May.
