    Now at Ludlam Island Brewery drinking Irish Potato, a Brown Ale with vanilla, cinnamon, and coconut. The cinnamon is stronger than I remember. Cheers!

    Lone Pint Clover Chaser Irish Dry Stout in the glass. Really good, reviews over at the other threads if you are interested.

    La Goudale is not bad, for a French beer - with a bit of Flemish help.

    But well....
    Blonde and strong are good, but it needs some spice and taste:

    1) Phase Three P3 Winter Lager (5.0%): A German Dunkel from Chicago with flavors of caramel, brown bread, toasted notes.
    versus
    2) Drekker Knock Knock (4.8%): A German Dunkel from North Dakota with flavors of caramel, bread, dark toast and hints of orange and cherry. (Correctly matched the two blind)

    Phase Three vs Drekker Dunkel Battle. First is Phase Three. Caramel, brown, bready, lightly nutty. Clean.
    Next is Drekker. Pours more of an amber color. More caramel and brown sugar flavors. Slightly sweeter and less toasted.
    Winner: Phase Three P3 Winter Lager
