    My next trip to MI will definitely involve a side-jaunt to Bridgeman and Transient Artisan Ales - thanks Craig - this brew is most excellent!

    Final impression and summation: 4.5 Despite the common imperial stout appearance, the aroma, flavor, and even the palate, make this an above average IMPERIAL STOUT! The blending of the flavors is superb – balanced and yet delineated, each sharing my tongue’s attentions equally, while standing out in their individuality. The slight smokiness may incidentally come from the coffee, but the maple-ness is directly aligned with my own addition to maple syrup. Look out liver and pancreas – here comes 500 mL of a great breakfast hit!
