I think I know the answer, but will any places around Anaheim still have Pliny the Younger on tap the week of March 24? Looking to try that bucket list beer while we’re out there for spring break. I also posted an ISO FT in the IP trade forum if anybody’s interested in trading a bottle of it for Chicagoland stuff.
    Cheers,
    Mike

You're out of luck. Kegs went to outside accounts on February. Anyone still tapping one is sure to get their access pulled for future releases.

I remember like ten years back when Haven in Orange held onto a keg and wanted to save it for a special release/dinner thing a month later that they billed online. That even randomly got canceled really quickly.

One of the beer bars here in PDX thought it would be fun to hold onto a keg for a year and tap it when no other place in town was pouring it. This was roughly 15 years ago, when it was a very big deal to get a keg of Younger (I think pdx was getting no more than a dozen kegs back then, all of which were sixtels). Naturally, they priced it accordingly (seeing as how the demand was huge and they were the only one's in town pouring it).

I think that was the last time they ever got a keg. They're long gone now, bought by Rogue some years ago (Green Dragon pub).

Yeah, from everything I hear from proprietors of fine beverage establishments, Russian River remains serious sticklers for the proper handling of their product

I think that this thread is somewhat unfair since Russian River doesn’t ship to my state.

I think that just cracked the top 250 since theh changed the rules. Heard it's fire.

I don't really know something about the number of ratings needed. I just know it changed recently. There's a thread about it

Stopped by Windsor tonight and it was a 20 min wait. Surprised to see the line so short in the first weekend. 3 bottles for $45 before tip.

I'm shocked they're still getting that price for 12 oz bottles

I’m not sure how big of a difference it makes, but they’re 17oz bottles.

That's a decent difference. $1.35 vs $0.88 is a big difference. PtY is not cheap, and I don't know how the double digit ipa market is holding up

I'm surprised too, but maybe the state and national roll out back in February slacked some of the demand? I'm a big fan of PtY, but I feel as if I've already had my fill this year.

20 minute line or 8 hour line, they’re still selling all of it.

I did the twofer on opening day. In line bright and early at the pub, 2.5 hour wait at Windsor.

i think this is the most crushable it’s been in years, none of the sticky sweetness from some years.
