Canning Citra and Citra with Strata today. Gotta admit, I’m really liking the Strata version this batch. Used hyper boost this time and it really pops. Try it if you get the chance.

 

Been regularly buying Sequoia Red !

After our recent road trip to Utah I was in need of some good beer, Citra & Citra w Strata. So here we are! My favorite road trip, besides ABC, r.i.p.

Had another most excellent time here in Kernville. Had lunch in the original pub and dinner at the Backyard. Doubles Check was spot on. little on the boozy side. Citra and Citra Strata good as well. Even had JO on tap fresh. Can was a little old for my taste buds. Ended up bringing a mix back of Citra, Citra w Strata and Chuurch!. Was hoping the collab with RiiP. Oh well. Until our next visit….

You would enjoy the og pub & Backyard. Friday evenings is band night at both locations. It does get very loud at the Backyard. So glad this big little brewery still exist 3-4 hrs away. Stay next door at Kern Lodge. Don’t forget the backyard of Kernville, lots of outdoor activities. Enjoy.

 

@KRBCEric did you guys sell out of the RiiP collab Snorkel Liips? I bought a couple of 4pks 2 days ago, should be arriving today or tomorrow. Went back on your site and I don’t see it on there today. Damn that was fast. Must be good stuff, yes?
Did you send a couple of kegs to RiiP to have fresh from the taps here in HB?

 

It should still be up for sale? Looks good on our end…

I’m up in Idaho at the moment, so I have not tried the finished product. Reports are good though and I should have some in hand soon.

I have checked with Danny to see if they want some. Not 100% sure on their license; sometimes other breweries can’t sell our beer.

I’m traveling to Irvine next week for work and would love to snag Citra. How long after release does it typically hit distro? Last year I scooped some up at Bradley’s, but it was on the older side, so I’d love to try it fresh. Thanks!

 

You’re 2 months shy of Citra release. It usually drops the 2nd weekend in November.
