It's "With Knox" and not "With LC" :grinning:

I'll post this in the proxy request thread as well but figured this is gonna get more eyeballs on it. My proxy for the last 4 years is officially retiring from shipping beer across the country but I'm not ready to retire from drinking Side Project. If anyone makes it to the brewery frequently and wants to make a friend in Atlanta shoot me a message. Thank you!

Dumb Question: Am I able to go pick up my DBD orders from a few weeks ago? Email says you have 3 weeks from the first available pickup date but I don’t see that date specified anywhere in the order email.

That language is a holdover from when everything sold out. When that occurred, the release would be later that week or the next week, and you’d have 3 weeks from that date to pickup. They need to update the language to reflect that not all beers sell out.

If you talk to them, they’ll probably give you however much time you need to grab it, especially considering the confusion.

I used the "contact us" email form (since I couldn't find a phone number anywhere) to ask this....basically said I'd be visiting end of April or do I need to find a proxy to pick them up? Response back was yeah no problem...email back closer to arrival.

I just picked up an order last night from Jan that I forgot about. They aren’t super strict on dates but I probably wouldn’t abuse.

I was told during Stout Week that the timing wasn't an issue for pickups - that people pick up later than 3 weeks all the time. As long as it's not egregious, I think you'll be fine. I was kind of apologetic because my non-beer person proxy - I always tried to thread the needle to avoid having him go more times than he had to, so I'd give him like a 3 day window to pick up multiple orders, and sometimes he'd forget. I emailed them like 4x last year to ask for extensions and they told me that it wasn't necessary as long as it's not crazy long.

Looks like some more invites going out. Some friends just got emails.

I’m really wondering if that many people put their money where their mouth is and didn’t renew or are we just saying fuck it, the entire beer community gets an invite.

Small sample size, but I know a few people that didnt renew. One I was pretty surprised by. One who got an invite today is passing.

My brother also got an invite and is passing but we basically split bottles as it is. We don’t need double the bottles.

I received an LC invite last week after about 6 years on the waiting list. I would have signed up instantly a couple of years ago. Probably even last year. But I will not be joining, due in part to the discussion here about the general feelings of disappointment among members, but also because I am trying to spend less on beer while Side Project prices have risen to what I feel are absurd levels.

According to the LC calendar, the cut off for renewals was 3/11. Seems odd that it's still open. Honestly i'm kind of annoyed that they haven't posted any sales in recent weeks. I agree with the above commenter about the prices rising to absurd levels. It looks to me that some of those public sales have slowed, likely due to the high prices.

LC had until the 11th to renew, the invites went out to people on the waitlist. They have until the 25th

But all of us that chose not to renew received an e-mail to renew by the 25th, and we can still login and renew. That's what the previous post by @Harrison8 was addressing.
