I'll start the day with a typical Murican beer of a typical Murican style:



Bourbon Maple Wishes & Pecan Dreams from Odd Sides Ales. Received from @Whyteboar in Barleywine and Stout BIF #2. 12 fl oz bottle. Received 26/02/25, reviewed 20/03/25 (Review 3477). Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Final impression and summation: 4.5 Excellent brew – pecan pie in a bottle!

Hey there folks from the unhappiest country in the world that is the most engaging on this site and that keeps this site alive... I want a brew before I hook up w a buyer for some drum gear I'm selling on CL. It's like free beer $ as far as I'm concerned but I'm happy that someone else can use the parts. So now, this beer is kind of a squirrel. An odd combo of tastes and probly not a NEIPA for everyone. It has a funky American cheese aroma. Not the first one like this I've had and certainly not the last. That said I'm pouring this 2nd canstanister very gently & slowly to keep the sediment content as low as poss. The 4pk I got has settled to the point where I believe a clear pour can be achieved. Blackstack Petting Zoo IPA

It's been a pretty slow work day so far so I decided to have a lunch time treat. I'm enjoying this one, nice hop forward taste without too much juicy BS going on. Northwoods Brewing Co, IPA.
