    Lunch time. New beer for me. Alsfeld Pilsner from Germany. This one of the more average German Pils I've had. Light bodied and needs a little more bitterness IMHO. Not bad but not Rothaus or Ayinger either.

    Formula Brewing Daydream Stream Baltic Porter, 9.9% ABV. Pours thin and dark brown, with a two-finger light-brown foamy head that left some lacing. Aroma is chocolate and roast malt. Taste is roast malt, faintly sweet, slightly bitter. Thin mouthfeel, a bit overcar-bonated, overall very good.

    Thanks to @snaotheus for this epic glass and excellent Baltic porter, which he shared with me in a return-fire box for our Stout/Barleywine BIF.
