    [​IMG] I have a very interesting Saturday. Today is my wife’s birthday, but one of my oldest friends died 6 weeks ago and we are having a celebration of life for him. Citra/Nelson to get this Saturday going. Cheers all.

    Crosscut from MacKinnon Brothers Brewing Co.

    A very smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Medium body and carbonation. A fine ale that is well worth a try.

    Called a "Canadian Ale" on the can, not a BA recognized style, but listed as "American Blond Ale" in BA.

    I hear ya. The beer even looks malty. Seems many craft US Pils lean towards IPL. It sort of begs the question: Do we call it what we think it is or just stick with what style the brewer releases it as. ?

    Spring back in North-West Europe.
    Time to taste a new IPA (only rated twice before here)

    Cascade and Simcoe hops.
    I like the citrus-grapefruitty notes, but there are hints of coconut-lemon grass that I favour less.
