Another frosty morn here on the PA tundra - fortunately I have an an excellent brew to warm me up - thanks Craig!



A Dose of Thunder from Fair State Co-op. Received from @Whyteboar in Barleywine and Stout BIF #2. 12 fl oz can. Received 26/02/25, reviewed 23/03/25 (Review 3480). Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.
Final impression and summation: 4.5 Excellent Baltic Porter! This is /was so tasty that it didn’t have much of a chance to warm up. But since I’m still drinking it… As it warms, the coffee becomes less noticeable and the roasted malt becomes more dominant. The slight chariness recedes and slight notes of sweetness appear.

I wasn't aware there is a protocol

 

There are multiple protocols. To me, smaller units of time progressing to larger units (day, month, year) makes more sense than switching around medium, small, long (month, day, year).

And @Shanex, spending my life in laboratories makes metric measurement second nature to me (except miles, miles will always be my travel standard). And I use a 24 hour clock, to everyone elses' chagrin.

 

Strangely, I like both. But that's just me. I prefer metric liquid measurements yet like miles over km. Also I don't like vanilla, clowns, or cilantro.
